In a safe and secure environment, children (infants through fifth-graders) hear from God’s word and have fun while learning. Music, snacks and playtime are also used beyond the curriculum. Children’s ministry also participates in Operation Christmas Child. Through this project, children are encouraged to purchase items, which they place in a shoebox-size container that is sent to less fortunate children overseas.
Riverbend Dayschool is a weekday children's program for ages 2-4. Through small classes with small teacher-student ratios, we desire to help each child begin academic learning and Christian character-building. We also want each child to know how special they are in God's sight and to gain an understanding of their self-worth.
ARISE Student Ministries is a place for teenagers to come together and engage in conversations about God, learn about life, and be a part of something bigger than themselves. Our desire is to equip and enable students to shine the light of Christ to whomever, whenever and wherever they go! ARISE gathers weekly on Sunday nights at Riverbend Community Church from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
College & Young Adult Ministry
Our desire is to see everyone connected. We value opportunities to deepen relationships, to be established in our faith, and to be equipped. To accomplish this, Riverbend has a Home Group for young adults (18-30). Click on the Home Group tab above to see the details of this group.
Men’s Ministry Vision Statement: “We as men value the Riverbend Church community and will seek to bridge men to the Grace of Christ, the fellowship of His Church and our home group ministry, so that we fulfill God’s call to walk with Christ, love our families by leading them, love the church by serving them, and intentionally reach other lost men.”
Every Monday morning 6:30-7:30 Men’s Bible Study and Discussion Time at the Shed on the office property. (Coffee is served)
Women's Ministry offers opportunities for women to gather for Bible study, prayer, fellowship and encouragement.
In Matthew 28:18-20, the Great Commission tells us to go and make disciples. In Acts 1:8, we are told that we will be witnesses for Christ in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth. When you put these two passages together, you have our heart about missions. We want to minister to people locally, regionally, and globally.
